Today’s verse is one of my favorites and one that always puts me in my place when I start thinking I know everything:
“My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9)
‘Nuff said, don’t you think? Let’s ponder on this one this week and learn to really trust that God is in control and knows what’s best. It’s a lesson that I can always benefit from learning … again.
